Debate: Europe needs solidarity, not tax giveaways!

The Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte likes to give lectures to other countries for not keeping their budgets in order but at the same time positions the Netherlands as one of Europe's top tax havens. The example of Portugal illustrates this well: 19 big companies left Portugal during the economic crisis to take advantage of tax deals they got from the Netherlands. This tax money could have helped Portugal to get out of the crisis. Rutte needs to stop pampering multinational companies and show solidarity to Europe's member states and citizens!
